This weekend I had the pleasure of attending the bridal shower of one of my closest friends. Melicia and I go back to 1981 where we met at a local summer camp.  Eventually, we both attended and graduated from Boston Latin School.  Over the years, we've developed a bond, not only with each other but with a very close-knit circle of friends. We've had some of the most memorable times traveling together! Whenever we get together, inevitably something will remind us of one of our adventures and the laughter begins!  We've seen each other through sadness, challenge and triumph. This is why I am so unbelievably excited to witness this next chapter in Melicia's life. On June 6, Melicia will tie the knot with Robert!  One thing is for sure, they have found greatness in each other. 

While the wedding is still several weeks away, Melicia had a chance to sit back and enjoy a day planned especially for her.  The event was hosted by Malaika, the Maid-of-Honor.  Guests were treated to a wonderful afternoon at Legal C Bar in Dedham, MA.  The food was fantastic and the specially selected drinks named in honor of the bride-to-be were a hit!  It was a wonderful afternoon to celebrate the start of a new chapter for Melicia.  Here are a few of my favorite "teasers" from the day!
